The Racer is the first frame in the range and uses a T800 high module carbon for the frame. Compared to the Stealth it offers a lighter weight but more importantly better comfort while retaining the same level of stiffness. We have chosen a compact chainset for the front mated with a wide ratio cassette at the rear thus allowing a wide gear choice. A full alloy FSA fitting kit with the addition of the Compact bar shape that is growing in popularity. This reduced reach on the bar allows the rider to stay longer in the drops without the normal lower back pain that some riders can experience. The top tube of the bike is wide and flows from the headtube right through to where the rear brake is fitted. This clean line is not only aesthetically pleasing but serves the purpose of making the frame stiff (due to the one piece nature) and compliant by the reduced thickness of the tube. The downtube benefits from a similar approach allowing the bikes steering to be direct and true. Fulcrum wheels, Vittoria tyres and a Selle Italia saddle keep the Italian theme going.
